Get Involved

There are lots of ways to get involved and serve the residents who live at Terre Haute Friendship. Whether that is participating in a neighborhood clean up or providing goods for household residents, we are excited to invite you into this BIG dream to make community and independence more accessible for our friends.

Amazon Wish List

Often, we are in need of household items that we list on our Amazon Wishlist. This is a great way to contribute to the needs of the house in a tangible way. These are often bigger ticket items or things that the whole house would use.

Provide Household Goods

We are always in need of household items. All of our residents are on fairly tight budgets and this is one of the things that we are able to provide through your donations to make living independently a little more affordable. If you would like to view a list of goods, that we need, click here. These can be dropped off at the house or we can arrange a pick up. We have also had organizations and businesses do a drive to support the house.

Invite Us to Volunteer

We are always looking for ways to get our residents involved in the community and opportunities to give back. If you have an event that you would like us to serve at, please reach out to our Executive Director, Jess Berryhill, to see if we are available to serve at with your organization or at your event.

Attend a House Dinner

We love having guests over and allowing them to meet our residents. Those connections widen our circles and help us promote inclusion and community. Would you be interested in simply having dinner with us? We would love to have you!

Register to attend house dinner!

Serve at Friendship House

We often have projects and ideas that we may not have the manpower or skill to do. We also regularly organize neighborhood cleanup days. If you would be interested in serving this way, contact our Executive Director, Jess Berryhill, to schedule your group.

Serve on Our Board

We are looking for individuals who will help us dream about what is next for Terre Haute Friendship House. If you have a passion for the disability community as well as for our city, we would love to have you join us as we reach forward to what is next.
